đź“Ś Special Issue Announcement
We are pleased to announce the Special Issue “Advances in Atmospheric Chemistry, Aerosols, and Climate Interactions Using Online-Coupled Models” in the journal Climate (MDPI).
This Special Issue aims to bring together contributions focusing on atmospheric chemistry, air quality, aerosol–chemistry–meteorology interactions, and Earth system processes, with particular attention to studies using online-coupled modeling systems such as WRF-Chem and related models.
Participants of the European WRF-Chem Workshop 2026 (EWCW 2026) will receive a 20% discount on the article processing charges when submitting their manuscripts to this Special Issue.

📌 In addition to WRF-Chem–focused contributions, the workshop will include a dedicated session for chemical, climate, and processed-based models other than WRF-Chem (e.g. MPAS-A, regional and global CTMs, coupled Earth system models etc.), with particular emphasis on models coupling, chemistry-atmosphere feedbacks, and operational applications.
Abstract and Poster submission
Participate at the European WRF-Chem workshop by sharing your work with colleagues. The workshop offers excellent opportunities to learn from the latest research and practice, to network with experts and colleagues and to expand your professional horizons.
Abstracts are invited for individual oral presentations, posters are very welcome too. All areas of WRF-Chem applications are accepted.
Online workshop
There will be the possibility to attend the workshop online and to present remotely; however, the organizing committee prefers to conduct and support the workshop in person.
The participation to the workshop is free of charge.
Please note that, as the workshop is organized by volunteer researchers, no travel grants or financial support are available for participants.

In the email, please specify whether you would like to have an oral presentation online or in person.
